We at Think Atom want to stop climate change. We also want to do everything we can to provide society – poor and rich – with modern energy services. Oh, and we want to keep our biodiversity and environment in a good shape as well.
We see nuclear technology has enormous, yet largely untapped, potential for society-wide deep decarbonization of our energy systems. The science and evidence agrees with us. We would love to see society agreeing on this as well.
To do our part, we focus on three areas:
- First, half of our energy is used in the heat sector. Where does this heat go? How is it produced, used and what are the emissions?
- Second, how can we use small nuclear reactors to clean those emissions efficiently?
- Third, how can society and policies change to be more agreeable and allowing for small nuclear to play its part?
